Hello again,
I love this scene from Disney’s Bambi, where Thumper begins to verbally express an unkind difference in Bambi. Thumper’s mother won’t tolerate it, and Thumper then reminds us of a valuable lesson,
“If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.”
As you reflect back on the holidays, my guess is there were times that you (or others) could have put this simple lesson into practice. And that’s what it takes – practice.
We gotta WORK to re-create, re-route and ultimately strengthen NEW or underused synapse pathways in the brain. This is solidifying our brain’s muscular development and growth, and it can be tuned-up at any age.
It’s never to late in life to develop in Positive Intelligence and strengthen emotional quotient (EQ). In these cases, you absolutely can ‘teach an old dog new tricks’.
I encourage you to take 5-minutes to read “The Importance of Thinking Before You Speak” as it has some good pointers and strategies, including the THINK strategy below:
Practice makes progress, and the benefits personally and professionally will speak for themselves (yes, pun intended).
Until next time,
Jessica
Expanded Hours!
I am slowly adding availability into my schedule.
Currently, I have time each Wednesday and every-other Friday.
Grab a slot for a re-fresh, get your Enneagram or Positive Intelligence jump-start, or start your consistent coaching journey today. If weekends are a better fit, let me know and we can get something scheduled.
And a reminder – I am now a full-service-one-stop-shop combining my two business into one (Organizing & Productivity paired with Life & Executive Coaching).
Practice makes progress, and the benefits personally and professionally will speak for themselves (yes, pun intended).
Until next time,
Jessica
